There are many young students who do not find the current Belgian and French Educational systems appropriate to their needs. The ‘Jury Central’ in Belgium and the ‘Baccalauréat’ in France do not provide students with the necessary tools to attain their academic objectives or prepare them for international studies.

Benelux Foundation Year (BFY) programme and target audience

The Benelux Foundation Year is tailored for high school students seeking additional qualifications and English language training to enter UK universities. Developed in cooperation with NCUK partners, BFY integrates academic modules and study skills, providing a pathway to leading commonwealth universities. Our bespoke approach includes also assessing aspirations, skills, and family dynamics. We set academic and personal development goals, offering tailored learning strategies. For Special Educational Needs (SEN) students, we recommend ADHD testing for customised support.

NCUK and Lycée Molière have partnered to create the Cours Saint Augustin to give our students both a solid academic curriculum and a robust set of values
In one year, the BFY covers only 3 topics, offering a highly effective approach to structured thinking and problem-solving: the top-choice alternative compared to the 7 topics at the Belgian CESS or the French Bac.
